Miracles. 1000’s of miles. Excitement. Intense heartache. A lot of cool adventures. And more miracles.

The last few months I’ve really had a heart to share a piece of my life with others, my family, my friends, the nations, anyone, and everyone. To tell you about my amazing journey with the Heavenly Father and our relocation to New Zealand.

I dream about creating a space where I could show a piece of my heart to you and we could have conversations about all sorts of important things. To share my life with you and maybe learning more about you in the process. I feel the need to connect with you. To share with you. To point you towards Jesus and hopefully increase your hope, inform you about life in another country, immigration and the emotional roller-coaster I have been through. Sharing some of my experiences, my insights, my joys and my coping activities to maybe encourage you during tougher times.

For a while now I have been thinking about the best way to do this. What should I say, what should I share and how much should I share. How and where should I share it?

And this morning I woke up with a song and a dedication in my heart. With a very strong need to connect with the Lords children. He has blessed us in miraculous ways in the last few months and with everything I have experienced my desire grew to impart hope and instill some godly inspiration.

The enemy keeps on telling me I am not funny or wise enough to write a blog, or I do not have enough “content” to write about or that no one needs or wants to hear what I have to say. But truly, it is not about that. It is about me wanting to connect with you, wishing I could do so over a cup of coffee, greeting you with a hug and looking you in the eye.

For now this platform will have to do.

Lots of love, Lelanie
